Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. (Moment of Silence)


Late Bus -Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays There is a late bus available for students to take home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3:40pm on the bus ramp. You must be staying with a teacher until the late bus arrives in order to ride the late bus. The sign ups will be in the main office until 11am on the day you wish to ride.


Quinnipiac Tutoring The Quinnipiac Tutors will be available in the library on Wednesdays from 2:10-3:30pm each week. Students need to sign up in the library and have work to complete. The Late bus is available for students to ride home. Students must sign up for the late bus in the main office by 11am on the day they wish to ride. (Last Day of tutoring is April 29th)


Final Forms-Spring Tryouts Any student wishing to try out for a spring sport must complete all information in FinalForms by Monday March 23rd. The first day of tryouts for baseball, softball and track and field will be on Thursday March 26th. You will not be allowed to try out on the first day for any of these sports without approval and clearance through FinalForms. If any athlete has any questions, you can either see the school nurse or the coach of the sport: Mr. Fuggi for baseball, Ms. Hobson for softball and Mr. Annino and Ms. Merck for track and field.


Arabic Club The Arabic Club will meet again on March 18.


Magic to Gathering Club On Monday, March 16 there will be a Magic to Gathering club interest meeting. If you are interested in joining the club we will be meeting in Mr. DePalma's room - room B135 afterschool until 3:30pm. If you have any questions you can contact Mr. Weese


Pi Day 3.14159265358979323846.........this is just the beginning of a special mathematical number called Pi. Pi-Day is coming back to NHMS. Since Pi day falls on a Saturday we will be celebrating this Friday March 13th and luckily for you, you don't need to memorize hundreds of digits to be able to pie a North Haven Middle School Teacher in the face. Raffle Tickets will be on sale during all lunch waves for 50 cent each including on Friday. Write your first and last name on the ticket and drop it in the envelope of the teacher that you would love to get some sweet revenge on. All proceeds will once again be going towards charity. This year we will be donating the money to the Kamp family who lost their entire home to a fire back in December. Some teachers participating this year are Mr. Sagnella, Mr. Iadarola, Mrs. Swartz, Ms. Gold, Mr. Sansolo, Mrs. Romanelli, Mr. Romanelli, Mr. Giamattei, Mrs. Bankowski and Officer Bob!


Track and Field Informational Meeting on Wednesday, March 18th Any student who plans on trying out for the NHMS Track and Field team should attend an informational meeting on Wednesday March 18th in the gym. Pick up will be promptly at 2:45 in the front of the school which is the track side of the building. If you cannot attend this meeting, you should contact both Mr. Annino and Ms. Merck.


Puzzle Night-Tuesday March 24th Join us for the 3rd annual Puzzle Night on Tuesday, March 24. Get your teams of 3 to 5 people together to see who can puzzle the fastest. To register: email Mrs. Kirby or Mrs. Commando by March 17.


Newspaper Club Mandatory Newspaper Club meeting this Thursday until 3pm to choose stories and plan out our spring issue. If you cannot attend, please see or email Ms. Kehoe.
