Picture Day for Students and Staff- Wednesday, Sept 16th School Picture day will take place on Wednesday, September 16th. Forms will go home with students prior to picture day for parents to purchase pictures online or students to return to the photographers on picture day. The students will be called down by grade and team in the following order: Block 1-6th grade, Block 2-8th grade and Block 3- 7th grade.
Boys Soccer Boys Soccer tryouts will take place from Sept 8th,9 & 10th. All athletes must bring cleats, shin guards, water, and a soccer ball. Tryouts will go to 4:30 at the sports complex. All athletes must be cleared through FinalForms to tryout. If you are not sure if you are cleared, please see Mr. Kirdzik in B138 to confirm.
Unified Sports There will be an informational meeting for Unified Sports on Wednesday, September 9th from 2:00-2:30 in the library. Returning participants are welcome but do not need to attend. Our first practice will be Wednesday, September 16th from 2:15-3:15. All participants must be cleared on Final Forms in order to stay and participate. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Comando or Ms. Chieffalo.
Girls Soccer Tryouts Girls soccer tryouts will start on Tuesday September 8th. Please meet in the large gym after school. All athletes should bring both sneakers and cleats to tryouts along with shin guards, water, and any medical needs such as inhalers. Practice will go to 4:00 and pick up will be at the track for the first day of tryouts. Please be sure you are cleared in Final Forms or you will not be able to participate.
Riding the Bus At this time, we are not allowing students to ride a different bus home than the route they are assigned to.
Cross Country Attention Cross Country runners: Our course walkthrough and parent meeting will be Wednesday September 9th. Students should meet in Mr. Benvenuto's room, B229 in the 8th grade hallway, immediately after school. Students should be wearing comfortable walking attire and sneakers. We will head outside together to walk our 2 mile course. Coach Benvenuto and Coach Annino will also host a parent meeting right after the walk at 3:15 in front of the middle school. Remember that all students planning to participate in any fall sport, need to be cleared with an updated physical in FINAL FORMS or they will not be allowed to try-out or practice.
